About
S. A. Hussey is a published author and poet, as well as freelance writer. In past years she has also had poems published in anthology books. Ms. Hussey has written on occasion for Bluebird Reviews, a web-based music review site, and takes part in on-line critique and writers' groups. Her first novel, ALL ACCESS, was published in the Fall of 2016 and in 2018 she finished REMEMBRANCE, Book One: Land of Memories, a paranormal romance; Book Two: Sea of Seasons released in 2020. In May 2019, Ms. Hussey released her fourth book, a fantasy romance, entitled, SOMETHING MAGIC, and in April 2025 she completed a fantasy sci-fi story entitled, FRINGE OF TIME. Ms. Hussey is currently working on the sequel to ALL ACCESS.
Author Personal: Ms. Hussey lives in the small coastal community and witch city of Salem, Massachusetts. She has two amazing and beautiful daughters, Sara and Lauren, and one fancy-schmancy cat named, Boo and a loveable lug called, Goose. Ms. Hussey works in Thoracic Surgery at a local hospital and when she’s not there she’s writing, reading or listening to music.

She enjoys a good concert and most genres of music, but the blues , boogie-woogie, and classic rock are her favorites, especially Led Zeppelin, Robert Plant, Beth Hart, B.B. King, Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson and Henri Herbert – all of them have stolen her heart and made her soul come alive to dance and create the words that skitter across the pages of her stories.

Reading is another passion. Ms. Hussey loves escaping into new worlds every day. She has many favorite authors, J.K. Rowling, Stephen King, Dean Koontz to name a few. And, her all-time favorite story is, The Songmaster, by Orson Scott Card.

“There’s something in the way he weaved those worlds. How he brought the characters to life. When I first read it, my 11 year-old mind was enthralled. I wanted to do that…to write. I wanted to create these worlds and tell everyone about them. And, I did for many years through poems and short stories, stopping only to raise my girls. Now I’m back, creating worlds and characters of my own and having a blast while doing it.”

And that is exactly what Ms. Hussey is doing...creating new worlds.
